Legal name change?

I became a US citizen and changed my name, how do I go about changing my name on all of my bills, credit, mortgage , all forms...etc. ???

You'll have to contact each individual company for every bill you have.

For example, when you pay a monthly bill, note on the statement that your last name is changed to -- .

By the next monthly statement, the change will have become effective.

Changing your name on your credit cards and legal ids (like SSn and drivers license) will require a notarized copy of the court order showing the legal name change.
