Then plug it in your calculator. That way you get 0.258819045.

Or if you need an EXACT answer, use the half angle formula.

sin 15
= sin 30/2
= √((1 - cos 30) / 2)
= √(1 - √3/2)/2
= √((2 - √3)/2/2
= 1/2√(2 - √3)

There should have been trig tables in the back of the textbook you left at school. Sin is opposite over hypoteneuse so what are the polar coordinates of a radius circumference intersect for a 15 degree angle?
