Can't give you a particular scenario but anything like Laurel and Hardy, The Marx Bros., The Three Stooges are all considered slapstick comedy. I believe slapstick refers to physical comedy.

Suzy Q got it right. Slapstick is a more visual/physical form of comedy. Slipping on a banana peel or pie in the face as opposed to telling a joke or an awkward situation.
