I've used limewire for a pretty long time now, but it seems that lately it's just not working as well as it used to. Either the songs "need more sources" or are "connecting..."for over an hour. I've tried cancelling the ones that don't work, and trying others but it seems to do the exact same thing. Any tricks to make the downloads actually WORK? or any better sites? apparently limewire's the best peer to peer site...so either i'm doing something completely wrong, or i need a new site..help!!

Have you enabled the Windows Firewall lately? Installed Windows updates that may have turned it on? Have you added or changed hardware in your home network configuration?
If so, you may be having problems using Limewire.

If it says "Needs More Sources" try right clicking the name of the song where it shows the percent of how much it has downloaded and clicking on "Find More Sources".

The problem is eithere your computer is lagging because it is an old computer, or you have a couple of open websites while downloading music. I tried and it worked

I know why your Limewire doesn't work because maybe it has trouble downloding..or..your computer has virus....so that's what i think...so good luck finding your answer!!!

look for virus 1st & then y dont u just try deleting d whole lime wire stuff..... & reinstalling it again..... might help
