What's the shoe color etiquette for wintry Chicago?

If you wear them with blue jeans you can wear whatever colour you like - they'll all go well. My guy goes crazy about me wearing long leather boots with heels, particularly if I wear tight jeans and tuck them into my boots! Try it and see the reaction of guys as you walk through town. First time I wore an outfit like this I was amazed how many guys I caught staring at my boots! Important though that you don't wear too long a coat as it'll cover your bum and spoil the effect!

I live in chicago and I would wear any color boot but white

yes, both are very cute and can be worn anytime, well not really in the summer, or spring if its hot where you live. i think both of the boots are 'etiquette' for chicago.

Black and easy-weight to medium gray go nicely together - brown and grey are type of blah. i'd positioned on black boots with all black, army, gray pants/skirts; and brown boots with brown, tan, beige pants/skirts.

sure you can, that is why they make these colored boots.. i think there is no rules for the snow, i'd wear the pink ones every day if it were me.
