I say definitely go for it. I teach riding lessons (along with my mom) and I ride. It's tons of fun for me and for the kids in the lessons. Just be like,"Uh, mom I've been thinking and I really wanna take riding lessons, it seems like a lot of fun and I've saved enough money." Just see what she says. Our riding lessons cost only $25 a lesson, most lessons used to cost about that much but over the years they have really gone up. Most barns now cost about $30-$35 a lesson. I hope this helps. Good luck!

Tell your parents that you would like to start riding lessons and you've saved up some money so they don't have to pay. Tell them that you have wanted to begin for ages and it isn't just a phase you're going through. They will be surprised at your maturity and will know that you truly want to do it. Good luck

I myself give horse riding lessons. I own 4 horses, the rest are boarded horses. I think if its something you want to do and can pay for it yourself then your parents should be supportive of you. Riding is a great way to release stress and strengthen muscles. We rodeo, and I train race horses. I absolutely love it. And would recommend to anyone to give it a try.

I would go for it, ask your parents first, but horse riding is great fun, and most stables can teach you a lot more than just riding skills. I learnt to saddle, bridle and lunge a horse as well as ride and jump, and I also learned a great deal about horses too.

o yes definatley take them! they are great fun, a good way to get excersize, and they are a good opertunity to get more involved with animals.
how old are you? if you are young then you should really ask your parents, but if you are paying for them then they can't really stop you!
riding lessons at my local farm are... i THINK they are around £20 but they are cheaper when you first start riding because you usually have shorter lessons. some farma are alot more expensive and some are less expensive.
please take them, they are such great fun!

Riding lessons will vary upon stable to stable. You need to call your stable that you plan to take lessons from. And I do believe you will have to have your parents signature before you can get on a horse.

I think that if you realling want to look into horse riding and you want to take lessons I don't think that you should let your parents hold you back!Remember, don't chase your dreams, tackle them!

If your parents support you then you should tell them. They will find out eventually. Of you tell them, then they might pay for it. If you are that into it, then YES you should go for it.

well if you want to REALLY REALLY do it and enjoy it, GO for it.
but if you're just gonna waste your money that you saved up, and you can get other things that you need and want, then i suggest NO
