I would've downloaded the 90 days one care free trial. Go to microsoft.com, this nati-virus does everything, and it's made by microsft, so you knwo it's safe. But when you want to scan your computer, it will tell you where to scan, make sure all the options are checked.

if you have already tried running a virus scan with the most recent virus definitions and you are still seeing this virus then do the following.

boot into safe mode without networking
run the scan again and this time (depending on which virus scan) see if you can select not just the hard drives but memory and registry as well
bad thing with viruses now a days is that once the instance of the virus attaches it self into the registry hive, it near impossible to get rid of unless you do a safe mode scan or better yet a scan while still in the pbe (pre boot environment) basically a virus scan before windows loads its files giving the virus a chance to load it self again to the memory or the registry

Having a virus is terrible! Run a virus scan immediatlyn like McAfee! It should take a while but at the end it will tell you what the virus is, you can either delete it or put it in cwarentine, sometimes you cant even do that! If that is true you have to flush or hardrive that means totally get rid of all the programs, all your saved items, and all that junk! That is a difficult process, and you need to get a pro to d it, unless you know how your self!
