Between the ages of 18-21. Up to 25, only on exceptions, like college. Its sad when a grown @ss person is mooching and roaching of their parents, instead of trying to help them after they raised them. You parents desrve a break after enduring your imaturity years. Atleast try and live on your own. If it doesnt work out and dont mind I guess you can stay, but wouldnt you as a person feel stupid telling your date you still live at home. For guys its worst, becuz men are looked as care takers. Staying at home is a turn off. I dont to be trying to get some in a twin size bed with wallpaper of horses. GET A LIFE!!.

I was racing to be out at 18 even though I love my parents to death. At least by the age of 22 assuming they were living at home while attending collage. I start wondering about people who are 25 and still living at home, how do have any sort of social life? Bring a girl home to bang at moms house?

Healthy kids should leave the nest either after college - or if they don't go to college, of course it would depend, but it would make sense for them to go out on their own at that point.

Unfortunately there are people that do not have the ability to live on their own, or at least not feasably, and it may take longer to leave home.

I had friends that stayed home way too long, and it reaches a point where it becomes unhealthy.

Not necessarily an age, but whenever they'll able to support themselves. Parents get sick of their children living with them as they get older, but if they can't support themselves thing's aren't going to be any better when their kids are getting evicted and into debt, costing the parents more money and stress in the long run.

If they don't move out after they graduate high school they should at least get a job and pay rent. Unless they going on to college or university- in that case it's all right because that is expensive enough as it is.
