A certainty of a season of hurricanes, tornadoes, or snow every year VS the possibility of a catastrophic earthquake that might hit once every 15-50 years plus kickass weather all year round.

God I love living in California.

We don't get anything. Just the heat. We have no tornadoes, flood, hurricanes, earthquakes, zip, zilch, nada. That being said I hate the stinkin desert and I want to move. Hurricanes be damned, I want weather and to get away from the damnable sun!

I live in California (have lived here all my life) & have been through a couple of earthquakes (the strongest one in 79 6.something or was it 7.something i was 3yrs old) either way I can never get used to earthquakes. i have never been through a hurricane, tornado, or snow storm, but I've seen them on tv. . . & i know that some hurricane, tornado & snow storms have come without warning, so I think I'd stay in California, i know we're expecting a "big one" anytime soon, but I'll leave it in God's hands to due upon me as he will. Besides, I love the west coast weather baby!!!!

I'd pick the tornado's & snow over perfect weather. I love not knowing what weather you're going to have in the next 5 minutes.
That's why we say "if you don't like the weather in Tennessee, stay around a few more minutes".

I'd rather have the earthquakes. I live in Indiana, and we get tornadoes and snow. Ugh..
