When my husband filed for divorce from his first wife she was with him during is twenty years in the military. He was not aware at the time of the divorce that he could have put a certian number of years he could pay her since she was entitled to half of his military retirement. So what does he need to do to amend that so that within the next two years it will stop and he won't have to pay it anymore?
Thank you

too bad- so sad-
that twenty year investment of marriage will be paid for with his military retirement-depending on the divorce degree and the laws of your state they were wed and lived in.

I'm on the other side of the fence on this one- it aint so rosy here either!
