That investigation is over! No one proved he lied. No one cares anymore. Despite 6 years of opportunity and mountains of alleged evidence of wrong doing, no one has been able to impeach him. Since he only has 2 years left in office with a slim Democrat majority in Congress, he isn't likely to be impeached either. Why waste the time (and the points) on the question?

Because libs have let their hatred for the man wipe away all reason and accountability. It consumes them. They're like rabid stray dogs, nipping at each other and all things republican. It's actually rather amusing, really... just sit back and enjoy the circus as they self-destruct and put psychos like Nancy Pelosi in positions of authority. By the next election, they'll be wondering how they had their azzes handed to them again.

It's no secret, but they HAVE found WMDs in Iraq, tons of them. They had stockpiles of biological and chemical weapons. No nukes, which is what everyone thought we were looking for, so the media won't say we found WMDs because it would make them look bad. Iraq had WMDs since we first got there in 1991. The only difference between Desert Storm and Iraqi Freedom is that we're not only there break his crap this time, but to get Saddam as well.

There is no point to go on about an impeachment. Besides that Bush didn't do anything bad, it would take the rest of his term to implement an impeachment. The media just loves stirring things up, and that's why it's still a topic.

Wanna know why Bush went into Iraq? I'll tell you.

After 9/11, everyone was saying "what did GW know and when did he know it?" and "why didn't Bush prevent this?"

Ok, now Bush has all this intel saying Saddam is building WMD's. Bush looks into the future and says, if a nuke goes off in downtown NYC and Saddam provided it, history will NEVER forgive me.

Also, don't forget, Saddam was preventing our inspectors from doing their jobs. He was ACTING LIKE HE HAD SOMETHING TO HIDE. Hell, he even gave up his country and will now be hung over something that never existed. Maybe we didn't find WMD's, but he sure was acting guilty over something.

That is why we went in.

Easy to say it was a mistake in hindsight - but no one knows what the world would be like right now if we hadn't. Israel might be a smouldering crater in the ground and we might be in the middle of WW3.

You just can't know. Unfortunately, we have the 24/7 advertising arm of the DNC (the MSM) slamming the Bush Lied BS down our throats 24/7.

Until about two years ago, I'd have asserted that the three worst presidents of the modern era were FDR, Johnson and Carter. Insofar as the whole WMD issue is concerned, the United States went into Iraq under the assertion that Iraq posed a clear and present danger to the US because of its armaments. This has proven to be false. Whether this is Bush's *fault* is no longer a question, but as president, he bears the full *responsibility* for the consequences of his actions. Bush has overseen more spending and government expansion/intrusion into our daily lives than FDR, has given the citizenry more cause to distrust the federal government than LBJ and has damaged our reputation abroad more than Carter. That will be Bush's legacy.

he has not been impeached because he had a republican congress that didn't want him impeached. I will be very disappointed with the democrats if they ignore this crime and let the president off scott free.

Of course they can prove he lied; there aren't any freakin' WMDs. You can't just hide something like that safely in your closet, especially when we had weapons inspectors searching for them.

If "no one cares any more," why the hell are you asking this question?

I agree; history and the world will remember him as the worst president in US history. He is more hated than any other man on earth. That's more humiliating than impeachment.

A delusion believed fervently may not be a lie, but it is more dangerous.
