I'd go with linebacker for defense. Linebacker is a diverse position that will work your mind, as well as your body. And it's a LOT of fun! On the outside, you get a lot of tackles, but also get some action covering receivers.

On offense, I'd go with running back. That's where all the action is. Don't have to worry about getting your share of the ball as much. But if you have to choose between the two, go with the defense. Defensemen are the coolest dudes in football. ;-)

That's my personal opinion, though. The best thing you can do is look inside yourself and play the position that you feel is going to be the most fun!

Why don't you ask your coach? That is what he is there for. Not only can he advise you on where you would best fit in, but also on where you can contribute the most to the team. Most positions are rewarding if you do well in them. It is nice to do what you like to do, but it is even nicer to be a part of a winning team.

As you gain experience, you can gravitate to what you enjoy most since you clearly have a number of talents. Also, as you grow your effectiveness in various positions will change. You will always be good at what you like and not good at what you dislike.

This is not something you need to worry about right now since a lot more water has to flow under the bridge before it is clear what your optimum position will be.

i recommend u go as a RB or a WR only if u grow a little more and of course know how to catch.size doesnt matter for RB its all about speed and strength and WR is better if u r tall bcuz it will be easier to catch when som1 is gaurding you.ingore all stupid ppl that say to be a water boy or that try to put u down just have confidence and motivate yourself always think positive and go for what u think u r the best in.

The best position for you is the one that will help the team out the most. Go to the coach before the first practice and tell him your strengths and weaknesses and then tell him that you'll play any position that he thinks you'll help the team most. The coach will put you at the position that makes you look the best, because that makes him look better, too.

It depends...if you're one of the fastest on the team you might want to play cornerback on defense...your size is pretty small to play defensive end on varsity.
On offense, I'd say either wide receiver or running back. In high school, the running back is usually one of the best overall athletes on the team. So if you're really as good as you say you are, try for RB.

Play the position that you have the most fun playing. You are still young and if you grow, you can change to a different position. At this point in your football career I would play the position that you like and the position that allows you to get on field experience.

Play where you can start. Whatever position will get you the most playing time. Better to play every down than half the plays as a back up. Figure out which starter sucks, then take his job.

well my opinion is to play rb or wr and depends on the offense you play in and what the coach wants from you so keep it open and try to fit in as a team player first

You are little. I wouldn't recommend you to play anything. You would get hurt. Try being the water boy.
