Considering that she announced the title on the Winter Solstice, I am just about convinced the 7th book will be released 07/07/07. The only thing I think could hang that up would be the 5th movie's release on 07/13. She may not want to over-saturate... or she /publishing company may. Big buck$! She is still writing though so, one never knows. My name is on the list at Borders though for when they do announce it!

Book 7 (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows) is set to be published in 2007, but the release date is not known yet.

Don't know, but I jut received a notification from one of my favorite bookstores that the title has been announced. I've already reserved a copy. I can't wait. Maybe it'll be out in a couple of months in time for summer, that's always a good time to release a new book

Based on her history of release dates etc....The fifth movie has been set to release on July 13 2007 so the last book should be released either for the Christmas shopping season of '07 or the spring/summer of 2008. Remember she never releases movies and books at the same time, also she does world releases and they would never get enough copies printed and shipped by July.

Well they announced the name of the book, that means some form of draft or another has been submited to the publisher. I know Rawling has said she would like to get it out around July or Augest, year not specified, because thats when the other books were released, and all the books start off at or around Harry's birthday.

it will probably come sometime during the summer or fall of 2007 the 5th movie is coming really soon though
