Because they have nothing else.
They have to defend their fuhrer at all costs. The mentality of people who support Bush is questionable at least and insane at most. It is unfathomable that people will bring up Clinton when Bushs lies are mentioned.
It is like a five year old who is caught doing something bad and turns the blame on their three year old brother.

Look back in history at what all the democrats of that time said, including Clinton. They all believed that Iraq had WMD's. Why do you think that Bush won the election? Because everyone in the country believed that Iraq had them. Iraq very well may have had them and moved them while the US was negotiating to get weapons inspectors in. Go ahead and google it, you'll be amazed at what your democrats believed about Iraq when Clinton was getting bj's in the white house.

Clinton enacted operation dessert fox to persuade Saddam Hussein to allow weapons inspectors into Iraq, to do their Jobs. Bush kicked out the UN inspectors so he could start a war. There is a great divide in strategy, diplomacy and regard for the people.

For the learning impaired: Clinton recognized the Iraqi problem in 1998 and passed a toothless resolution.
The US could not simply pass a resolution and do nothing to enforce it.
Get over it. No one lied.

Hey, BUSH DIDN'T LIE.... he acted on information and intelligence given to him by several countries.... and then congress reviewed it and authorized the war.
Why don't you ask why buddies of yours like Kerry lied by voting FOR the war????????????????????
