They may appear to be more romantic but I believe they are better practiced at seducing naive tourists. If a woman goes to France with this romantic interlude in mind, she'll probably overlook that he lives in his mothers attic and hasn't bathed in a week. Bottom line: please don't go into a situation blindly.

Maybe it's not that there so romatic it's just that people fall for accents. My friend went out with a french guy, exchange student, and she dropped him pretty quick, but I love my American boys! They are probaly said to be so because French is one of the three romatic languages. well just be careful and have a great trip and don't judge b 4 u c. lol

Not necessarily, that's just a stereotype. American guys can be shallow jerks, yeah, but French guys can be just the same. (but of course they can also be amazing and sweet, just like Americans can.)
