Because they are fools. They forget we all have the same origin. They forget we all bleed red. They forget we'd all look the same if you remove the skin, you know, all gross and stuff with muscles hanging out...
But seriously, it is because of the sin of pride. They have to find some way to elevate themselves so one of the easiest ways is to use race. Chances are they are that way with other things, not just race i.e. male vs female, rich vs poor, etc.

Perhaps it has something to do with money. People from earliest days rated people on how much they had. I think it goes back to caveman. It seems to be human nature to show off. Now with sophisticated and educated people who should know better, it still is a need to dominate the poor, the afflicted, the less educated, etc.
to show dominance. It is not the way to go however, some of the best people are the humblest.

It's their way to cope with reality. They don't really think they're superior, but they feel like a victim, so they try to justify it for themselves by saying they're superior.

Its because they have lots of money and that has always been the case throughout history.. The more you have the more superior you feel.. Lucky God does'nt see it that way ...

because others give them the thought that they are superior. so if everyone would just start acting like they are just as normal as the rest of us they wouldn't feel as if they have power over anyone else.
also it could be because they have crappy parents who give them anything and everything that they want, so they feel that they are over everything and everyone.
