Yes, I do. The middle child is traditionally the forgotten one, and so is the one either more eager to please, or cause trouble, just to get attention. I went the eager to please route and now am a carpet.... I get stepped on and people wipe their feet on me.

Well, I am the middle child of three brothers but my youngest brother wasn't born until I was 13 so essentially I was the only middle child and the only girl for most of my upbringing.
Now that I'm older I did suffer from the Mid Child Syn. I was always complaining that I didn't get the same things as my brothers, that both of them got so much attention and I was always left behind. I used to hear that I was not old enough to do that or at my age i should know better than to do this. Now that I'm older I see how silly I was being, but I can also see some huge differences in how I was raised and how my brothers were raised.

I am also a middle child. I am #3 of four and am #2 of three girls. I completely believe in it.
Growing up my parents seemed to forget about me and the things that I did a lot..all the other kids were doing more important things. I was also the odd ball out in the types of things that I enjoyed doing (ie: i didn't play sports)
Could just be something I made up, but I felt it.

I am a middle child, older brother, younger brother, it might make a difference since I'm the only girl but I do not feel left out or neglected. My parents must have done a good job. Thank You Parents....

Yes, it exists. But to dwell upon anything of the past, is to not release it from your body, mind, spirit. It can then fester and grow. Illness comes from dwelling on the negative instead of the positive.

No, I don't think so. Maybe it's because my older brother was nine years apart from me, & my younger brother only two.
