Every 30k miles this vehicle probably requires an oil change, coolant flush, transmission fluid flush, air filter (if needed) and cabin air filter (if applicable).
$200 is reasonable for that.

Well. It sound pricey, unless is not only maintenance.I pay $17.50 for oil change and filter at my local Ford dealer on my Windstar (every 3000 miles), and once in a while I get a 50-100 bill for additional maintenance items.
I would ask for a second opinion with a different dealer, or ask plainly to your dealer for a description of the charges. Beside parts, they should be charging between $50 to $80 every hour they work in your car.

If your car is running good, you don't need to take it to the dealership for a maintenance checkup. Your car's lifeblood is Oil! Keep checking it regularly, like when you fill up for gas. If you change your oil every 4000 miles, your car, whether it's a Lexus, Porsche, BMW will last a long time. If you have a mechanic, pay him instead of a dealership mechanic to look over your car, as long as he is certified, but that's if something goes wrong. Rotate your tires, too and they will last longer.

I disagree with Rude. I've had several Toyotas and a Lexus. I tell the ASM what maintenance/service I want, making sure it's entered into the dealer's system. (I also listen to his recommendations and take that into account.) I've had several warranty claims and never a problem. Toyota/Lexus is known for it's excellent customer satisfaction.

Import car companies have a maintenance program that you must stick to. If you miss one thing on this program and have a warrant problem with your car so sad to bad they will not cover it. GM Ford and Dodge are easy to deal with and will let you get away with missed maintenance import will not. My source is brother in law how works for Nissan.Get it done and be safe not sorry. Hope I helped and good luck.

Used to do my own backyard paintings, build fences, paint around the abode, sparkling my gutters. Minor initiatives around the abode. Now i've got not got the capability to do them, without some help. i'm able to flow fixtures around by using myself. And getting the infants to come again over, to help is purely approximately next to impossible. i choose a clean fence, yet my neighbor is procrastinating on his 0.5, and that i can't pay to get a clean fence submit, if he won't share the fee. I even have already carried out that 2 instances for the neighbor on the different area. and that i'm able to additionally not take care of to pay for it now. Irk's me to loss of life that folk can't be in charge for his or her own stuff, and ignore approximately it like it is going to flow away. and that i agree handymen choose too a lot money, for somethings that I used to do myself. and that i'm able to't take care of to pay for to do it now. So I actually have a gardner, do the failings I nonetheless can and want for the appropriate at something.
