OK, this is help, not the whole answer:
1) 5 "percent" means five-onehundredths. So 5% of a number is 5/100times that number.
2. The volume of a cube is the cube of the length of one side.
the cube of a number is that number times itself times itself, or x*x*x if x is the number
3. The diameter of a circle is twice the radius
4. To see if two fractions are equal, x/y=?a/b, multiply both sides by y and b, to get x*b =? a*y

1. 5% of 1500.00? Answer: (1500.000 x 5) : 100 = 75.000
2. A cube measures 3 inches on all its sides. What is the volume in inches? V = Total Sides/4 = (3 : 4)³ => 0,75³ = .4143 in²
3. What would b the radius of a circle with a diameter of 8 inches? Radius = 1/2diameter =>8/2 = 4in
4. 2/3 = 4/6??? Yes. Those fractions are equivalent.

1. 5% of 1500.00
5% = .05 (move the decimal over to the left two spaces to convert percantages into decimals)
of = multiply
So:
.05 * 1500.00 = 75 ($75 if you meant in money)

2. A cube measures 3in on all its sides. What is the volume in inches?
The volume of a prism is:
V = Bh
Where V=volume, B=base (the area of the most likely non-rectangular face), and h=the height of one of the rectangular faces.
In this, it is a cube, where all the faces (sides) are squares (which are rectangular).
Firstly, find the area of one of the bases. To do this, you need to know how to find the area of a square, which is:
s(squared) -- I'll use s^2
So the area of the base is 3in^2 = 3^2in^2 = 9in^2
So now we have: V = (9in^2)h
h, the height = 3in also. So put 3in into 'h'
V = (9in^2)3in
V = 27in^3 because the 3in is actually 3in^1 and when you multiply variable with exponents, you add them together. Also, volume is always in units cubed.
So the volume of the cube is:
V = 27in^3

3. What would be the radius of a circle with a diameter of 8in?
The radius of a circle is half of the diameter. The diameter is the longest possible distance from one side of the circle to the opposite side. In this case, the d=8in, meaning the radius is r=4in.

4. 2/3 = 4/6
Umm ... true? If you multiply the numerator (top number) and the denominator (bottom number) of 2/3 both by 2 (meaning: 2/3 * 2/2 where 2/2=1 and multiplying any number by 1 gets itself) you get 4/6.

Hope that helps!

1. Of is the same thing as multiplying so it is the same as 5%*1500. A decimal is the same thing as a percent so just put a decimal point 2 spaces to the left so you would have the problem .05*1500.00

2.volume is length*width*height so it would be 3*3*3

3.The radius is half of the diameter so divide the diameter by 2.

4. You can reduce fractions and make them smaller numbers by dividing the numerator and the denominator by the same number, or you can make the fraction look bigger by multiplying the numerator and the denominator by the same number.

If you want them the answers are below:

1) .05*$1500.00=$75.00 is 5% of $1500.00

2) 3in. * 3in.*3in.=9in cubed(that means to the third power.)

3) 8in./2= 4in. equals the radius

4) 2/3*2/2=4/6 OR numerator=4 / 2=2
denominator=6 / 2=3

You want to know 5 percent of 1500 right?? Basically if you just have to divde the percentage 5 to 100 to get 0.05. Then times that number to 1500 so it would be 1500 X 0.05 and it is 75.

Of course, you are not going to learn anything like that!!!

1. 1500 * .05 = 75

2. V = 3^3 = 27

3. r = d/2 = 4

4. 4/6 = (2/2)*(2/3) = 1*(2/3) = 2/3

1. divide by ten, then divide by two.
2. 3 cubic inches.
3 diameter divided by two = 4.
4 yes, because you can multiply 2 and 3 by the same number to get 4 and 6.

These questions are insanely easy.
