After the failure of the sega Dreamcast (your probably thinking Sega Dreamcast?) which is a pretty good console actually, Sega determined that it would only stick to making games. So now sega only makes games. and you can go to any EB games store and pick up a dreamcast for 40 bucks.

Sega is now just a software production company. It only makes videogames for the videogame systems. No one knows when sega will make another system.

If you want sweet old SEGA games, you should pick up a Wii. You can download the sonic games and other classics such as Altered Beast to play on the virtual console.

SOme stores like Gamestop still have it. I still have Sega Portable.

After genesis they couldnt make money off their systems and only their games. So they stoped making the systems and now still make games for other systems.
