i made wind. you use a tank. a fish tank will work well. divide the tank with somesort of wall but must have an openning at the bottom. on one side but a hott hott lamp and the other side will be empty. then attach a string with a leaf hanging from it in the middle... on the empty side and you will see that the hot air and cold air mix to create "wind" and the leaf will move like crazy!! it's pretty neat!

you can make this more academic, by talking about weather and climate. wind is created when in one area of the world it is cold and the other it is hott. research more. i think it is pretty cool! good luck!

there are books out there to help. so visit your library or seach the web.

A girl from my school won the science fair with a project on handwriting analysis. She and her team wrote a sample paragraph that had every letter of the alphabet in it and based on their strokes and method of forming letters, their personality could be identified. It was pretty cool, and their analysis truly matched their personality. Very interesting and I bet no one else will do that!!!

Depending on your age,the simplest is getting a glass of water with red or blue food coloring in it.Take stalk of celery, cut the bottom, and place it in the water. The colored water will slowly rise, showing how the plant gets water to circulate and nourish the plant.
Or it`ll show the results of stalking.Hahahahahaha,I couldn`t resist the joke. But seriously it does work.

this project works for any grade. i did it and won the science fair. "Why things break?" research the molecular explanation to why things like wood breaks but rubber bends. it gets interesting with huge molecule models and let the judges break wood sticks the whole time

I did this project...long ago and it was a hit....

I made a clear pyramid...I slightly moistened a piece of bread and put under it...I faced the pyramid exactly north south east and west...and put it in my closet for two weeks...beside and on the outside I placed another slightly moistened piece of bread from the same loaf...after two weeks...the bread under the pyramid was dry...the other piece was molded...is that cool or what?
