My house was just tented for termites. Do I need to clean everything like, bed sheets, furniture, clothes, table tops, etc?

I'm looking across the street at my neighbor's house that is tented and have tented my rentals. Believe it or not, her company told her that it is not necessary to clean items that are contained in enclosed areas (i.e. dishes in cupboards, clothes in closets, etc.). However, unless you had the high heat method, they probably used a fumigating pesticide that permeates everywhere including cupboards and closets that aren't hermetically sealed. Didn't they have you seal your food in the fridge in those special double baggies? That tells you the stuff they used can get behind the sealed gasket on the fridge! If you don't mind eating off of those dishes, or wearing those clothes or sleeping on that bedding which has been exposed to those chemicals, then by all means... but as for me, I'd be donning rubber gloves and spending my New Year's cleaning and doing some heavy duty laundry.
