Well I was in the Army so I dont like either one Just kidding. I love all the armed forces.
But I would go with the marine they know like the army what commitement is. and just like the army they will protect what they love even if it means there life.

Wow. I'd actually choose neither- you know why? Because both will be away from home ALOT. They may miss the birth of their child. Do you like sleeping alone? You will wait in a constant state of fear when they are on the battle lines. It takes a very special, very strong woman/man to be married to someone in any of the armed services, as you go into the marriage having the deck stacked against you. I would think that the better question would be are you ready to be married to someone serving our country and are you strong enough?

Well, I would never recommend getting invloved with a military man in the first place, but if you are determined to do so . . . then who am I do argue?

With that said, I can't think of any pros for either but here are the cons:

Marine -- more prone to violenent fits of rage; statistically more likely to be a wife beater; stupid; will rather be with his platoon guys any night of the week than with his wife

Navy -- long deployments; probably goes both ways

Just going by their occupation its the same

Marines may be called upon more in the war than Seamen. Marines have a high sense of pride and loyalty overall for who and what they are.

Hmmm...that's really shallow. I think you're better off picking a guy based on his consideration for you, his personality, his sense of humor, etc. etc., not what kind of uniform he wears.

Because if your only criterium is which branch of the service he's in, then you're bound to make a terrible choice in your life.

the occupation shouldnt matter when picking a husband, what should matter is the person's personality, how well they treat you, that they have goals in life and are trying to reach them, have respect for you and are trying to secure a good stable future for themselves, can be a good provider should children come into the picture and take their marriage vows seriously....
