I love these names. Five out of the eight are on my baby name list (Blaire-for a boy or girl, Jackson, Rory-for a girl, Scarlett, and Luke).

I agree that Trinity does have a religious association but so do other more traditional names like Mary, John, Christian, Christina, etc.

Jackson is a very manly and athletic name and it's also very Southern. (Not sure where you're from).

Scarlett is very feminine and also very southern.

Rory is unisex but I like it more for a girl. It is a less traditional girls name, very modern but it sounds confident and intelligent.

I know both male and female Blaires. I also prefer this for a girl. It is often associated with the valley girl. The kind of name a headcheerleader would have. I can see why some would associate it with being prissy but I like it. I'm always reminded of the character Blair from the "Facts of Life."

Luke sounds like a very congenial boy. The guy who everyone likes, who's not to arrogant and gets along with most.

Emerson is traditionally a boys name but Terri Hatcher used it for her daughter. I don't think I would go that far. It just isn't feminine enough for most girls carry it off.

Perry is a suitable boys name. Sounds intelligent.

If I had to pick a boy and girl name out of these, I chose Rory for a girl and Jackson for a boy.

Congratulations

Trinity doesn't even sound like it should be a name except for a church or something. Blaire...someone made the comment about bratty and I would have to agree with that. Jackson, Rory and Luke are all acceptable.

Trinity has a religious connotation. Blaire sounds fine. Rory sounds like the name for a British soccer player.

I really wouldn't do emerson. sounds nerdy and like some name an old guy would have. I like trinity or blaire, jackson might not be a smart choice (MJ) so it'd be better to go with jack or jackie on that one.

Blaire: Sounds like a bratty girl

Jackson: I love it!

Rory: I like it, but for a girl.
