Cannibal Republicans, ahh yes notice how they eat there own. Doesn't feel so good when your own says you've been taken by the way side. Could say live and learn, but that will never happen. Rather see the country struggle than admit wrong.

1) I didn’t give a r@t’s @ss that Ford pardoned Nixon, and even if I had, it wouldn’t have anything to do with the fact that he was right about the Iraq War being a scam, a disaster and a disgrace.
2) Liberals accuse Conservatives of being corrupt because they are. Accounts of the immaturity of the actions of some committee heads are astounding; if you acted like that in a job in the private sector you’d be fired the same day! Feel free to read about the stonewalling, procrastinating, pork barreling, near total inaction and partisanship of the 109th Congress at any time, and you will find out that they have been rated as the "Worst. Congress. Ever." The NYT recently had a well-researched article on how the Republicans have totally destroyed the spirit of Congressional respect and bipartisanship over the past six years.
3) The economy is doing great for whom? Paris Hilton? It certainly isn’t doing great for people who lost their higher paying jobs due to the economic crash these bastards created, who are now working for minimum wage or a little more because that’s all they could get. Oh, but let’s just count the number of minimum wage jobs added and say that’s “better.” Let’s not count the people who have given up searching because they feel hopeless, and call it “lower unemployment” because we don’t have to count people who aren’t looking! And we sure better not actually compare the effect on the economy with the real, solid growth of the Clinton administration!
4) Bush went into Iraq because he wanted to get the oil, make more money for his rich pals, and kill Saddam for threatening his Daddy. He would have, and did, make up any lie that would get him there so he could achieve those objectives. He never had any honest reason for attacking Iraq and we all know it.

Unemployment lower than most of Clinton's reign.
If by taking to the cleaners, you mean cleaning up Clinton's messes than yes we have been cleaned up a bit
