I'm starting to wonder whether most people would even survive for 10 years in a world of chaotic freedom.

You question is really too vague to give an in depth answer.
I'll say this though.....forcing your version of freedom on a people you perceive as being ruled by tyranny, is tyranny, in and of itself.
