I am curious to know if this will happen in the future. Given Iran's alleged nuclear ambitions, will the U.S. or Israel intervene? Its often been said that Israel will simply not tolerate a nuclear armed Iran. And it seems to be the consensus of opinion that Iran is working towards developing nuclear weapons (although they deny it). Will the U.S. or Israel attack Iran? When will they do it? What will be the precipitating events? And how will they do it?

I think Israel will do to Iran what she did to Iraq: wait until Iran is close to getting a nuke, and then bomb the reactor.

To whomever asked: Israel joined the nuclear club around 1975. Before then, she was invaded by the Arab fascist dictatorships four times, and attacked countless other times. Since then, Israel has not been invaded by any Arab country, although she has been attacked via missiles and fedeyeen constantly. Coincidence? I don't think so. Besides, if Israel was going to use her nukes, don't you think she would have by now?

If Israel or the U.S, takes action against Iran. I'm totally against their interference. Do we tell the government of the United States how to run their country, they went to Afghanistan to find a terrorist in Bin Laden, did they find him yet? the U.S. is in this country on the grounds that they are suspected of harboring this terrrorist. For all we know Bin Laden might be hiding within your own country, rest assured he'll not be found. He was a good scapegoat that opened many doors. U.S. is at war against Iraq because of Hussein, he'll be hung justice begotten, get out and let them fight their own wars.
As for Israel why is it right for them to say "we may have nuclear weapons and yet we may not" what gives Israel the right to carry nuclear weapons or maybe they are hidding them "let's invade or go to war against them, to see if i'm right, right that they don't have the weapons, lol".......Furthermore by the time a war is declared many of those oil fields in Iran will no longer be owned by the government, they'll be owned by Big Corporations. No money tobegotten there.

They certainly should. Iran is a terrorist state that has proclaimed that it wishes to destroy Israel. Nuclear weapons would give them the opportunity to do so, heaven forfend.

If Israel does indeed have a nuclear capability, it will use it only as a last resort, after a first strike by some other power.

Iran is the biggest threat to the West today, and their military capability must be curbed by the West.

In addition, individual terrorists must be eliminated--if necessary by engaging them and killing them.

There can be no rational argument against this two-pronged approach.

The US does not have the military resources or allies to launch an attack on Iran, and it would be risky for Israel to launch anything more that a token strike, given the volatile nature of the region.

Why is it that Israel is allowed nuclear weapons anyway (it is accepted by everyone that they have them, and they don't deny it), yet it isn't okay for Iran to have them? Surely the risk of mutual annihalation will make them both grow up and start behaving like adults.

probably. Why? no longer for the justifications hyped indoors the mainstream press. In 1978, the U. S. asked the OPEC international places to word the U. S. dollar by using actuality the baseline for the acquisition of all oil indoors the international. In return, the U. S. certain all imports of oil to the U. S. ought to come from the midsection East. wager who finally opted out to word the Euro fairly? Iraq, Iran, North Korea and Venezuela. Iraq have been given their comeuppance for that determination and now it form of feels Iran is next on the record. even regardless of the uncomplicated actuality that it won't be the U. S.. they are going to use Israel to do their grimy paintings with some overrated excuse to attack. something you pay interest is in basic terms smoke and mirrors. it somewhat is all approximately oil and international banking. The Iranian people choose for the comparable themes as you and that i: advance a relatives persons, having a job and sufficient to consume, possibility-loose practices for his or her old people and living in peace and team spirit. i think of their leaders could tone down the rhetoric, yet hi, why take crap from the international bully?

I don't know. I understand that Iran is preparing itself for any possible attack, and ready to inflict heavy casualties on any invading army. But more then this-I don't think anyone knows.
