My husband and I will both watch any movie with him.

I didn't like the Tim Burton Movies as much. Although Willy Wonka wasn't as bad as Edward Scissorhands (I just thought the character was annoying) I thought his character in From Hell was just a step away from Edward Scissorhands.

Other movies with him are awesome. Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, the Ninth Gate, Dead Man

I like him better when he's not in a "sexy" role even though he IS sexy, and I did like him in Chocolate. His acting ability surpasses his looks and I think roles that require him to be a hotty limit his ability.

Well since he's one of the best actors out there, basically having done all top notch films I would say I wouldn't change a thing. He's a smart man when it comes to picking roles he really loves because when he plays that role, he plays it perfectly.

Even back to his 21 Jump Street days, he has always chosen roles that he would be able to play to the best of his ability, not simply for the money. I would say Cry Baby was an odd choice (along with Edward Scissor Hans) but having seen both it's amazing to me that even in such cheesy films his acting ability and presents still comes through. I love Johnny Depp but I don't think there are many out there that can say with all honest that they don't.

He should have not taken the role of Willy Wonka in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. It seems to be a trend in Hollywood to remake movies only to have them not come close to the original. Such is the case with this movie. Gene Wilder did a tremendous job as Wonka in the first movie and there is just no way Depp could live up to him. Still he is a great actor.
