Depends on what type off office. If it's a medical office, you'll need some medical background (terminology, etc) For most office management you need proficient computer skills (excel, works and word, etc), data entry, a high typing speed, customer service background, fax, email, copy machine experience, accts recieveable and payable experience. I am sure there are others, too, but those are the most common things you'll need to get an office management position.
