You should never just settle on a console because you don't want to wait for another.
Which isn't to say the Wii is a bad system. It's actually quite fun.
IT all really depends on what types of games your into. Is their a specific series you tend to favor? Do you like the Final Fantasy series or is Zelda more your style. Exclusives would be the ultimate question if your only going to get one system.
Wait for the PS3 if your into Final Fantasy and Metal Gear Solid
Get a Wii if you like Zelda, Mario, or the Metroid Series
In the end your gonna likely get alot of fanboy answers which wont help much.
Ultimately, get the system which has the games you most want to play.

That's funny, I can easily find a PS3 (but don't want one) and can't find a Wii anywhere for less than almost double the price. Good luck finding either but to me it seems like the Wii is going to be a much longer wait! To me if you're going to go for graphics rather than just good old fashioned fun I'd go with the 360. Not as flashy as the PS3 maybe but has tons of games and Halo 3 is coming soon!

Turns out graphix isn't everything when it comes to playing games anymore, its about how much fun you are having playing the game!
The Wii is totally taking over, and at 249$ its worth it! The money you would have spent on a 500$-600$ PS3 can go to more games, controllers, etc for the Wii.

Please what ever you do dont get a wii its not worth it dont fall into the trap of time
if you get a wii youll be unhappy when the ps3 is out
trust me its worth the wait .
go to youtube
type in ps3 and watch some clips
then
do the same for wii
and forget what i said you decide
just dont be dissapointed .

if you can wait for the ps3 then do so but i prefer to get the wii.
