You want to be careful with a service oriented business because you are trading your time for money. Let's say 20 people want your service today, but you can only schedule 12, you have to turn 8 people away.
If you have a business with a product, you are eliminating that factor because no matter how many customers want your product, you can provide it. It's a quicker way to build residual income as well as create leverage.

Get your mind out of the gutter, you! (I didn't assume that's what you meant)

What can you do? Can you clean houses? Can you fix computers? Can you mow lawns?
Maybe you can clean buisnesses after they close.

Take something you like to do and make it into a buisness. For example, can you make something that people will buy (like wood dressers)? Or, can you do something that you can teach others to do, like play guitar or dance?

My friend came up with an idea to start his own buisness. Since it looks like it will never happen, I'll give you his idea. He was going to have a sandwich cart or trailer to set up at concerts/fairs. He was going to make all the sandwiches the night before. So, really he only needs one employee, himself. There would be little cost in preparing the food. The biggest expense would be the cart/trailer. If you know someone who's handy with tools, they can probably make you one pretty cheap. Just a thought!

Good luck!
