I say aero or aeropost-al-ay (the italian pronunciation, it means air mail), what is the proper way to say it? you don't say loo-is vuitton, now do you?

The word is correct, but is very little used: most commonly, italian for air mail is "posta aerea"
"Aeropostale" better refer as an adjective for the airplane itself.
