I need some easy DIY projects to do. Nothing like building a headboard, or something like that. I just want something simple, like, say, painting your jeans, or making a toothbrush bracelet.

You know what I mean?
Help me out. (:

You could make a collage, picture frame, mixed CD, scrapbook page, decoupage, snow globes...there is no limit!

I've been killing time at work making an album on wallgreens.com You can upload your photos and add captions. I gave several of these albums for Christmas presents, and everyone was thrilled. You can get a hard cover, leather bound book starting at 24.99. http://photo.walgreens.com/

Snapfish.com and cafepress.com are also fun places to create stuff.

Have fun...and enjoy your day!

You can save a tremendous amount of money if you read all you can concerning the entire braking system on your car. Simple brake pad, rotor re-surfacing, rotor replacement, caliper slider pin lubrication, rotor thickness measuring, bleeding brakes when necessary and picking and choosing better parts along the way. Pick up a Haynes or Chiltons manual at any auto-parts store for your specific car. You will see tons of car maintenance procedures. Learn how to drain, flush and *cleaning your cooling system which gets neglected by most people. Read your tire tread depths and adjust pressures on the high side when ever possible. Maximum tire pressures are posted on the tire sidewall. Use name brand oil filters. Wix, Denso, Motorcraft and Purolator Gold are the best you can lay your hands on.

Have you tried the DIY network site. They offer craft ideas also. Look at HGTV's the Carol Duvall show for ideas. Try http://familycrafts.about.com. You could just do a search for "painted jeans instructions" and see what you come up with.
