If i scan an e-mail and download it to my computer, will i be able to erase it later?

Do you mean can you delete it from your e-mail program or from your computer? You can delete anything you copy into your computer so long as it doesn't have a virus attached. And just copying it to your computer should have no effect at all on deleting it from your e-mail program as that is on-line with your ISP.

Yes, u can store it just about anywhere, documents, etc........and depending on which e-mail u use they also have a place to save e-mails, if u want to delete it later just delete it
