You'll get yours eventually. I got mine when I just turned 12. Believe me it's not fun. Especially since I got mine two days after my birthday and I had to travel in a car for long hours.

Thats nothing to fret over! I didn't get my until I was 16 years old. Don't worry, feel relieved about it because once it gets there it will a long time before you can get rid of it.
I bet you're asking because you feel like the only girl in your area and age group who still hasn't had her period. Well its nothing to be ashamed of. A lot of those girls are going through cramping, headaches, back aches, and heavy flows. Some even have the "embarassing" drip that leaves stains on their clothes.
You might think now that you want to fit in and have your period but there are other ways to fit in to a social clique and this is not one of the ways you want to do that.
At first its cool "I got my period yesterday for the first time and now my mom's bought me pads and chocolate" but then a year later you're having your 10th period and you're crying in bed and claiming you want to stay home from school or get out of P.E cause the cramps are killing you.
Hold on to your youth and chill out. Don't rush yourself to be a woman. It will come naturally one day. No need to feel left out. Periods suck -.-

It's normal. I got mine at 12 1/2. Some girls don't start until they're 15.

Girls get their periods at all different times. I didn't get mine until I was 14 and a half. It depends on your body...you need a certain amount of body fat to get your period. You can also ask your mom when she got hers because that might help determine when you will get yours too. It is normal....

Every girl is different. My mom didn't get hers until she was 17, but I started mine when I was only 8. Its all normal and healthy. Trust me don't rush it. Just enjoy being the way you are now.

Yes - that's normal. Thank your lucky stars! There is a reason they used to call it the "curse"
