I have a total of seven conures that have the ability to laugh and speak many words. They are able to associate their sounds and words with the correct resopnse, such as nite nite for bed time, good morning when they awake, and they identify my wife and me properly. So with proper training they are able to acquire the ability to respond correctly.

Yes, but they express it in their different respective manners as some sing, some howl [not exactly howl but something like that]and so on.

yeah if he is a parakeet, my parakeet laughs kind of like a haha hehe laugh. and he only laughs when you laugh.
it is funny.

Nope.....they dont laugh......but they do express their feelings with their moves.
And its only their colligues can know if they are laughing :)
