Thanks for the heads up. Sorry to hear that you've been diddled.

I wouldn't bother with the quaran unless you want your son to grow up viewing women as second class citizens.

Call your local news. Where I'm from it's called the "wistle blower". I'm sure any news station would leap at the chance to identify a local business that essentially "stole" christmas from a young boy. Considering that you have already notified the cops, contacting the news is your best shot. I'm sure the business will not appreciate the bad press. Or you can call nintendo and file a complaint. If that business is an authorized supplier of Nintendo products, I'm sure Nintendo America would love to hear about a dishonest vendor who is promising their products but not delivering. But I would call the news first.

if you type in av villiage in google seach there is no such thing as a purchasable website called av villiage. I think you got scamed because this same thing happened in a tv show called The Real Hustle on BBC THREE. Next time i really suggest www.play.com. i really bought Wii from Play.com 4 only £179.99 PREORDERED

Go to the police.
I have just sent two E-mails, one to HSBC and one to Nationwide asking them to investigate these people. Why don't we all do the same so they might take some action?!?!

i got caught by this lot too. i feel very silly that i agreed to pay by bank transfer, and now realise that because of this i have no redress. i haven't notified the police yet, but know i will have to if we're going to put a stop to this sort of scam. hope your son wasn't too disappointed. the site has disappeared now.

i will post crime number on this site as soon as police give me one, and i'll give them yours. good idea to e mail hsbc.
