I usually go with my first impression. It is not always true... It depends on what sort of impression I get.

Example we went camping this summer and a guy was living out there... he just gave me a real bad feeling. When I went home I checked him out on the internet to make sure he wasn't a sex offender. He wasn't, but it never really made me feel better about it.

Plus, I have met many people that I thought were nice and later find out they are backstabbers.

I think first impressions are just impressions... I don't think we should judge based on that fact... but be cautious. Within time we can decide whether our impressions were true or not.

I would like to think that I've got a pretty good intuition. My first impression is just that. An impression. It doesn't mean that it's the totality of the person, and I try to remember that. Yes, I tend to go by my gut feeling during the first meeting, but I also try to leave room to change my mind....for good, or ill. Maybe the person was having a crappy day, maybe their underwear was too tight. Maybe they haven't had any chocolate! But after I give them a margin for error, and things don't improve, I resort to my first impression and move on.

I used to, but then I thought about how many times I was nervous the first time I met someone and said something completely absurd. The first impression is correct more often than not - but not always - i think... Thx Dragon! ♥ya

Yes, I think so. I always go by first impression. I think that is human nature. And it just sticks with you. Rarely have I met a person the second time and have changed my opinion I had on the first time. It has happened, but rarely.

Normally yes I do, but my first impression isn't always correct. So I have learned to get to know a person, to know how they are, because maybe they were having a bad day when I met them.

Not always. But for the most part my first impression is the correct one!

No because they might just be having an off day. I judge them overall on how long I've known them, not just on the first impression because I don't like being judged on a first impression basis either.

I don't think it is always correct..some people are shy and open up more after you get to know them. I have stuck my foot in my mouth on more than one occasion when meeting someone for the first time.

Set the silliness aside. undesirable judgment. Stuff that concerns are complication-unfastened readability, cogency, adherence to thought and properly articulated. Like how does the guy do, how does the guy think of. physique language could have it truly is say too yet a guy or woman could be experienced with employing its techniques

First impressions are rarely what a person is about.
