If you lay a tube map out on the pavement in front of you then you can see all 275!
Seriously, this is a bloody good question. I know Embankment is very close to Charing Cross, Temple, Blackfriars, Waterloo etc but the answer about Bank/Monument seems the most viable.
Incidentally, King William St. station was originally the southern terminus of what is now the Northern Line. The disued tunnel is still visible, blocked off just south of Borough station.
The line was then extended further south to Stockwell. As you approach Stockwell station (southbound Northern Line, en route from Oval, the tracks veer sharply to the right. To ones left at this point is a disused, blocked off tunnel leading in the direction of what is now the Victoria Line. Directly above, one can still see the original roof tiling. If you are a passenger looking through the carriage window you will see a single orange light, and the tunnel widens. This is the sight of the original crossover, which is now used by Northern Line trains terminating at Stockwell.

This is a cracker and I am looking forward to the answer.
My best is four stations, because, from memory there is a point on Euston Road near Euston Square station from which you can see:
Euston Square (Circle, Metropolitan, Hammersmith & City)
Warren Street (Northern, Victoria)
Great Portland Street (Circle, Metropolitan, Hammersmith & City)
Euston (Northern, Victoria) (although, strictly speaking, you can only see the main line station)
(You could probably see quite a few from Hungerford Bridge, but that is hardly ground level

Wow! Good question.
If you stand in the middle of the road at Oxford Circus (not really a good idea if you want to carry on living) and if there were no buses in the way, and if you had binoculars, you MIGHT be able to see Tottenham Court Rd, Bond Street and Marble Arch in addition to Oxford Circus - but that's only 4 (and it sounds pretty unlikely anyway!)

Perhaps they meant entrances to the same tube station? You can see a lot of entrances to Piccadilly Circus for instance but they are not different tube stations. There would be no point in having 5 or 6 tube stations within walking distance of each other would there?, the train would be stopping every 2 seconds and be really annoying.

hope you find the answer, I know from the Embankment station you can look right to Westminster, left down to Temple and Blackfriars and back through the building to Charing Cross - but they are only the huge lit Underground signs - not the actual stations!
