Your'e an idiot! The monarchy brings in way more money via tourism than they are payed via the Civil List and if you had your way it would mean jobs lost and businesses closing down.
You are just a jealous little twerp who makes yourself feel better by slagging other people off. You are part of the tabloid conspiracy against reality and to call the Queen a parasite when she is at work nearly every day of her life is pretty pathetic of you.
I'm not a monarchist or republican, but the Queen has been a strong and loyal monarch to this country and ingrates like you don't deserve anything other than a presidency. (Look how good they tend to be).

I'm a British subject. I think this country is rapidly going down the pan with a Labour goverment that doesn't understand the British people or the history of our nation. The only thing that I still like about the UK is our monarchy.

HM The Queen is a paragon of duty and dedication; many of us would gain much by following her example. The Queen is a symbol of the unity of our nation and represents the continuity of our great heritage: more than a thousand years of steady, peaceful progress to the stable democracy that we are today.

The Prince of Wales clearly cares deeply about this country and he was talking about the environment way before it became trendy; now we know we have to follow ideas like his if we want our children to inherit a safe earth. He will make a fine King.

All the Royal Family work tirelessly for charities and other institutions; for example, the Princess Royal is the head of the University of London, where I work; her knowledge of the University and her level of involvement is really remarkable given that she has an incredibly busy schedule all year round). And of course, the monarchy both directly and indirectly contributes to the large tourist sector in the UK economy.

The Queen costs less than a president, especially if you include the cost of presidential elections. I would also argue that the Queen can better represent all her subjects than a president could represent all his citizens: I think more Britons like the Queen than Americans like President Bush; that's the advantage of an apolitical head of state.

God save the Queen!

First of all, the US in not a county, it is a country. Second, how do you expect to be taken seriously when you can't even use a spell checker? I expect the royals are so deeply upset that you don't love them! And where do you get 'a very high proportion' from? Present your basis for this assertion. You have been brought up in an anti-monarchy family and so your position is developed from those around you. All you know are those anti-monarchists. But it is stretching reality to assume with no factual basis that everyone feels as you do.

you still have, and support(Monetarily) them or you would have thrown them out and taken back what is rightfully the peoples. don't vote, throw them out, its that simple. i know it takes a bit of gumption. and if you not actively trying to get rid of them you are loyal, because your sure not non-loyal. any wealth that they have was the peoples a long time ago and they are still living off it, demand it to be turned over to the people of Britain, to those it was in the first place. and if you feel bad for them during the adjustment , have the PM. put them up at #10 downing st. in the basement. for a while, till they get on their feet.

I remember when Princess Diana died back in 1996 and I was confused I thought that you British people were very rude to that lady .After all she was the mother to your future King. When Diana died I was shocked by the outpouring of grief you gave out.Considering that most of you didn't know her perosonally, most of you didn't respect her privacy, etc.So as an American I am confused by your relationship with your royal family.

they are very well liked here in the USA IMO and highly reported on..............as a Brit living here am often asked an opinion regrading several things that they have done etc

I still have a high amount of respect for the queen and oddly enough for princess Anne [who works harder than most of the rest of them put together] as for Charles and that old hag cant stand them period.......................but like your statement it is JUST an opinion

I do think tho that IF Charles takes over the throne at the point of HRM death they will be a mini revolt as I sure for one do NOT want to have him as the head of the church of England nor do I want that **** as his consort or his queen or what ever title they give her as **** still fits her better IMO

Honestly yes I believe that most but probably not all British love and respect their Royal family. I can easily imagine them willingly supporting an inbred bunch of loons who produce nothing, keeping them rich, and in the public eye and heart.

The USA is a 'country', not a 'county'. And the notion that you Brits like or dislike your royal family scarcely crosses our radar screen, unless one of them does something dumb.

They have no real role in your government, so why do you care?

We do think you love them and all that Royal BS.
Will that ever get with the times and die out?
Seems like your people would want more of a say
by voting.
