with a really menacing and chillingly beautiful snow queen, and wintery landscapes with sublime manifestationn of ice frost and snow?
would one of the japanes directors fit the bill...one with a nature mystics eye for natural beauty...but also one who can manifest a
"perilously fair" callous and cruel snow queen, with exactly the same pittiless nature that the season itself has.
maybe there is a director/cinematographer that has a magical/wiccan outlook who can marry the elements of fantasy with the natural world to produce a truly mesmerizing film.

I think Meryl Streep could be the snow queen and the director of the Lord of the Rings or the director of Memoirs of Geisha as they were really good. Meryl Streep acts so good for the role of the snow queen as she looks really horrible.
i just finished watching that movie few hours ago. Its real good.
