I can,t get window updates for it ! when i try it only downloads to 62 o/o then freezes there ?
Could AVG be preventing this?I can recieve Emails but cannot send,I,m running ME(primitive i,ve heard)but my computer was distroyed and this is all i have right now.Any Help Would Really Be Appreachiated.

Yes, AVG COULD be blocking Internet Explorer. I recommend updating to the newest version=Internet Explorer 7. If this doesn't help, I strongly recommend using the Mozilla Firefox browser.
I also suggest you update you anti-virus software. Scan for viruses,OPTIONAL: (and if you can..update your PC to a newer edition, like XP or Vista.)

Need more info to answer. What Antivirus/FIrewall software are u running on ur PC?
One reason I can think of is, your PC has virus.

Try to download Mozilla FireFox. It now has a browser for windows. Or you can try netscape.
