Blondes...

babygurl, it's a word, trust me.

"word = a unit of language, consisting of one or more spoken sounds or their written representation, that functions as a principal carrier of meaning. Words are composed of one or more morphemes and are either the smallest units susceptible of independent use or consist of two or three such units combined under certain linking conditions, as with the loss of primary accent that distinguishes blackʹbirdʹ from blackʹ birdʹ. Its the future of 'to have'.

But English is so Bizarre. We say 'I am hungry' when in fact we should say 'My name is Fred and I have hunger.' or 'I have thirst'.

Strictly speaking 'I am having' is future. 'I am having to go to have my teeth pulled'

But we mean it in the present as well. 'I am having my hair cut' is implied as present.
