I just bought a new desktop computer. I still have my old one but I keep it downstairs for the kids to use. That one would get dusty and dirty on the keyboard and between the keys. And the screen would get dusty sometimes. I don't want that happening to this new computer. So, is there like Dust Cover's or or anything I can keep on the keyboard from getting dusty. It has to be one where I can still type and things. And to keep the screen clean, do I just use like a wet towel or a duster? Everytime I wipe the screen, it get's right back dirty

yes, they have a plastic/rubbery cover for the keyboard. there also screen wipes that have there own little container and are dispensed damp and one at a time. remember you cant cover anything that has to cool itself, or it will over heat. computer stores will have these.

Yes there's dust covers for keyboards and monitors...and computers even. Some of them are only to be used when the computer isn't in use. If you search the internet or your local computer shop, you should find what you're looking for with no problems. Canned air is good too for keeping dust and crumbs out of places they shouldn't go.

As far as your monitor, a lightly damp rag will do the trick. Don't use window solevants because they're acidic and can eat at your computer screen. Especially if your screen is not really glass like newer LCD screens or laptop screens. And clean them gently.

Don't Use a wet towel!!! Static builds up on the screen and it attracts dust--that's why it gets so dusty so fast. But using anything wet on it is dangerous. Buy some anti-static dust clothes. You can get them at most office supply stores. As for the keyboard, make a rule---no eating while using it. That will cut down on the crumbs and dirt that get in there. Buy a can of compressed air to blow the dust out regularly.
