Mylacon drops are awsome! Wal-Mart has thier own "Equate" version that works just as well. As long as it is simethicone, it will help!
Good Luck!

You have to help the baby in two ways:
1) Give the baby drops, like Gripe water (my fav.) or Mylacon
2) Alter your diet. They baby gets gas from your milk. Cut out tomatoes is a big help (pizza, spaghetti, etc). Search online for breastfeeding diets, La Leche league has good info as well. Moms need bland diets in the first months of breastfeeding to help the baby out
Good luck!

do you burp your baby after it eats? a baby needs to be burped after every feeding as they cannot belch on their own and that may be why it has a lot of gas. put the baby over your shoulders after feeding it and tap on its back till it burps. you may want to do it for a few minutes as it may have to burp more then once.
also when you do this the baby may spit up a little bit. this is normal and there is nothing to worry about.
