No, you can't have a "period" but you can have what resembles a period. I did...then off and on for 6 weeks! I didn't have sex the whole 6 weeks so I was either pregnant or not, right? I took 6 pregnancy tests (one each week) and all of them were negative. I took a 7th the 7th week and it was positive. Turns out, when I went to the doctor, I was 10 weeks along! So yes, it's possible to have something that resembles a period. You would have to take a test, like you said, but to give you hope, yes....you can be.

So I found this site and it's called implantation bleeding (if you are in fact pregnant)...
Implantation Bleeding
Implantation bleeding can cause you some confusion when you are unsure whether or not you are pregnant. It is not always easy to tell what is break through bleeding, or spotting between periods, and what is actually implantation spotting. The difference between period and implantation bleeding is that implantation bleeding occurs as a result of the embryo burrowing into your endometrium. However, because implantation spotting usually occurs right around the time you would be expecting your period, it is easy to mistake it for your period or as breakthrough bleeding.

Implantation bleeding signs generally include blood that is lighter than menstrual bleeding and is either pink or brown in color. How long implantation bleeding lasts will vary from woman to woman. It is important to note, though, that spotting in early pregnancy is not the same as implantation bleeding.

I hope that helps and good luck!!!!

you won't be able to and do no longer want a era on an identical time as pregnant. it surely relies upon on the colour of the blood, if it somewhat is brownish, it somewhat is previous blood that replaced into trapped interior the cervix. Having intercourse ought to launch it. If it somewhat is pink blood, it somewhat is clean and you should be miscarrying, having a subchorionic hemorrhage, or in basic terms be between the few people who bleed for no obvious reason. yet no, it somewhat is not a era.

The woman's body has a mind of its own. Anything is possible. Nothing is set in stone. So yes, you can still have your period and be pregnant.

I know a few women who have had a regular period throughout their entire pregnancies. But, to be on the safe side, go to your doctor!

That has never happened to me but I have friends that have had periods while they were pregnant.
I saw women that didn't even know they were pregnant cause they didn't miss any periods.
So yes you could still be preggo!

Sometimes people have a period, but I don't think it's common. Sometimes there can be implantation bleeding (if you conceived), which would be before your period IIRC, but it would be unusual for it to be as heavy as you describe.
