Well I don't know the answer to that but I thought that Beyonce was being kinda nice putting his stuff in a box hence the alternative lyrics I made up:

because the left was closer to the door the right took him upstairs around the corner to the down stairs bathroom where no one has seen him for 2 hours !!! so she decided just go left

Maybe she says to the left because maybe Jay-Z's stupid so when she shows him the box and says to the left he will know what direction it is in and he wouldn't leave his belongings when he leaving.

To the right sounds off with the beat, try and say it yourself and you will see. To left, is just more catchy because it's easier to sing.
