Excluding the cost, I would rather have the 360. I already have a lot of games for my xbox that I could play on there, there are many successful series on the xbox 360 and of course, gears of war and halo 3 (upcoming). The PS3 is great, but you need a very expensive TV and accessories to tap into it's full potential.

I made a conscience decision to buy an Xbox 360, and a Nintendo Wii at launch, and neither had disappointed me in the least. Sony promises you the moon and the stars (with it's game consoles), and then doesn't deliver on the goods. It's about time consumers start wising up to this fact.

The Xbox 360 has a fantastic library of games, an unmatched on-line community, and the perfect synergy of hardware and software that can go head to head with the PS3 any day.

The Wii is a delightful device that challenges us to play games in a new and exciting way, and is bringing games to entire families that everyone can play together.....regardless of their gaming experience or background. Best of all, it's affordable.

What does Sony give you with the PS3? Empty promises, only 1 game at launch worth buying (Resistance:Fall of Man), and an extremely expensive console that is more interested in putting a Blue-Ray DVD format in your household than what it should be used for..... video games. Sony has lost touch with the gaming consumer, and is more concerned with trying to sell it's proprietary disk format to boost it's revenue from the movies it sells.

Need I say more?

I have both the Wii and a 360. This gives me more complete gaming experience (fun, graphics). and it costs about the same as the ps3

I would get the Xbox 360 because of prices and better game selection. The only thing that PS3 has going for it right now is the fact that it plays blue ray disc.

i would say hard to choose between wii and ps3...only drawback of wii they are more teen oriented gaming...sony made a mistake by adding the bluray disc and bumping the cost up or else they could have done better....cos u can walk into some walmarts and pick up the ps3
