Brady Quinn will be the #1 pick:

1) Played under a former NFL offensive coordinator
2) Played in a Pro-style offensive system
3) Is highly marketable
4) Troy Smith did not dominate games the same way Quinn did (at times)
5) Smith had a better team around him all year, whereas Quinn did more with less.
6) Quinn has a spotless track record in terms of rules and regs.

The Lions are going to get the pick. Based on past drafts they're going to pick Calvin Johnson. They have a good back in Kevin Jones so they should go for a QB. Brady Quinn is more of a QB than Troy Smith but athletic QB's are a big weapon in the NFL right now (Vince Young and Mike Vick-yes he is a QB). I'm a texas fan so this hurts to say but Troy Smith will be the number one draft pick in '07.

Brady Quinn will be probably be the number #1 pick because both Oakland andDetroit are desperately in need of a quarterback I think Troy smith is agood qb but I believe Quinn will fit better in the NFL.

Quinn or Joe Thomas if Detroit gets #1, Peterson or Thomas if Oakland gets #1, troy smith probably wont be in the 1st round, not many teams want a QB under 6 feet or a wr or Rb with average speed and hands (see charlie ward)

I'd like to say Troy Smith but it will probably be Brady Quinn. Being a ND fan I would be hesistant to pick him because he's looked rather spotty this year. However, his arm strength and decision making potential will probably make him the number one pick, even though Troy Smith was amazing this year and won the Heisman by the most votes in history (i believe).

The Raiders will go with Quinn and he'll be a flop and we'll have to listen to what a fool Al Davis was for Picking Quinn over Smith, who turns out to be the better QB.

it should be troy smith but it will be brady quinn. they say troy smith is not the "prototype qb", too short or whatever. I say take the best athlete, and that is troy smith in a landslide.

I want it to be Troy Smith...but its going to be the overrated Brady Quinn. Just wait til he has a team that has nothing and then he'll get traded....he'll be worthless.
