If the plugs are bad, your car will stall or miss. Missing is when your car stutters a lot from one or more spark plugs not firing.
Your engine is run by a series of controlled explosions. The fuel is gasoline and the spark plugs provide the ingnition. No spark, no explosion, no run.

When the electrode on the spark plug begins to deteriorate, or the plug becomes dirty and fouled, you will experience mis-fire, loss of power, poor fuel mileage. Perhaps a rough idle.

your vehicle will start misfiring, acting like its chugging, sputtering etc, usually it only takes 1 bad plug to affect the engine.it can also lead to others issues, such as faulty emmissions readings, causing other sensors to malfunction,as well as lighting up the sevice engine soon light

it would start missing. This would cause the engine to work harder.
